This is the dress I wear when I don’t want to get out of my pajamas. Even though I bought it in summer over two years ago, I really consider it a year-round dress. It’s pretty easy to layer it with tights or leggings in the winter, and you can cover up with any cardigan. This one is my favorite. It’s got no closure, but it does have pockets!
These earrings again. They appear to go with just about every outfit. With the cardigan and lower neckline of the dress, they just seemed to look best. I kept the necklace simple with the boldness of the earrings.
I am still not sure about these tights! Perhaps I just haven’t found the right outfit to pair them with yet. The pattern is super cute, and I would hate to throw them in the never-wear-again pile. Any suggestions for a match?

Since the tights have straight lines, I’d wear them with something straight or angular like a pencil skirt.
Could you tell me more about the dress? Does it have sleeves? Is it a lighter-weight fabric?

@Stephanie: It’s a jersey knit dress, with little flutter sleeves. I went through my photos of the times I’ve worn this dress, and while I know I’ve worn it alone, I can’t find any photos without a cardigan over it.

Cute! Just happened upon your blog today and I love the way this looks. I have a very similar dress (though mine has no sleeves) which almost never gets worn. For some reason, it never occured to me to add tights and a sweater. Thanks for the inspiration! :D
