Centuplicate

Man, I have been so sick since Saturday, you cannot believe it. I wanted to do something special for Post 100, but haven’t had the energy to do so. This past weekend, I was supposed to move into my city apartment, but the sickness was just too much. I’ve got boxes of IKEA and Target items, strewn across the new place, and I’m not sure when I’ll finally be able to get in there and unpack. Down with the sickness!

But it other news… Post 100! Last summer, I often wondered if my life as a style blogger would make it this far, and if I did, what I would post about later, down the line. Would I be successful? Would I be interesting? Do I have enough clothing to keep making new outfits? Do I really have anything pertinent to say about fashion, style, self-esteem?

I may not have all the answers, but keeping this blog has been fun for me. Perhaps that’s why it’s lasted as long as it has! I’ve often abandoned projects involving web development (my job, and currently, my career) even though I love it and find new technology fascinating. I’m too close to it, and maybe even a little too critical of my own skills; I feel that everything new to be said has already been said by someone much cooler than I.

Style is different, though. Yes, bloggers much cooler than I have a lot to say, but my own personal style is changing, evolving. No one else can blog about that but me. So I’m still here. And you’re still reading. Thank you.
